Amazon

One of the most famous compilation series in Japan returns with a slick collection of Balearic lounge and deep house tunes. These are the kind of tunes you listen to chillout, and that’s exactly the genre they’re within.  As you look down the track list of this compilation there are 10 different artists; each of whose style could be filed into a number of different categories. Down-Tempo, Chilled Trance, Deep House, Electro House. Atmospheric, Mellow - the list goes on. There is 2 cover versions.  First, there is AMBROZIA's orchestral version of "Arthur's Theme"(Original by CHRISTOPHER CROSS, Ranked at No.1 in USA in 1981), and VALID EVIDENCE 's "I Like Chopin - Japanese Edition".  The original tune was by GAZEBO, but a Japanese cover version by ASAMI KOBAYASHI was bigger in Japan than original so VALID EVIDENCE have covered the cover version.
Unique collaborations abound. DJ 19 has teamed up with JORGE GRACIA from CLUBBERVISION under the guise of JAPAIN – fusing the two countries together in this musical excursion.  Netherland's BLUESPARKLE also teams up with DJ 19.  He is known as a production partner of fellow Dutch DJ/producer C-JAY. Together DJ 19 and BLUESPARKLE form the guise of DEFINITION OF AFFRANCHISE.
Besides more known artists within the electronic music world, you will find undiscovered artists like HIDEOUT and GENUINE FAKES. Hideout is one half of HOT STATION , while GENUINE FAKES is a pseudonym of a Japanese house producer who will release "Okinawa Lounge Sessions" on 19Box Recordings soon.
Sit back, relax and grab an "Essence" of your favorite resort by the sea...

After this relaxing start of the day, walk pass the Nam Phu fountain tru Rue Pangkahm to Rue Samsenthai.
At the crossing you will see the Lao Plaza hotel on your left hand, now turn right and continue on the Rue Samsenthai.
On this street there are lots of nice jewellry shops (Saigon Biijoux) to visit and even a French wine shop (Vins de France), you might need some extra time here.
But hey youre in Laos where nobody is in a hurry!
At the next crossing turn left towards the Black Stupa.

Turn right again on Rue Phai Nam and walk towards Avenue Lane Xang, at the trafficlights cross the Avenue and on your left hand you'll see the morning market.
If you like shopping this is a good place to start.

From the morning market you can walk back to Rue Setthalthilath via the Avenue Lane Xang.
At the junction on your left hand you arrive at Wat Si Saket, the oldest temple in Vientiane wich houses thousands of buddha statues in the surrounding corridor.

You can cross the road after visiting Wat Si Saket to see Haw Pakeo.
Starting to get hungry yet?

And if you like to invite the driver to have lunch together with you he will be happy to have a meal as well.
How to get there?
Follow route Rue Thadeua (southwards) untill you reach the roundabout with clock turn right here and drive along the Mekong.

You will find the garden in the middle of rice paddy's and it makes an excellent getaway from the city.
The food is very fresh and exquisit, try a fresh coconut to quence your thirst.

After lunch let the Tuk Tuk driver drop you off at the That Luang Stupa built in the 16th century under King Setthathirat on the ruins of an earlier 13th century Khmer temple.
A wonderful photogenic stupa especially when the sky is blue, which makes a nice contrast with the golden glow of this sacred place.
